The Townsville Power Station is a gas fired power station located in Townsville, Queensland, Australia. It has two generating units with a total capacity of 242 megawatts, and it is owned and operated by RATCH-Australia. Townsville Power Station is a Siemens combined cycle plant with 1 gas turbine and 1 steam turbine. The output of the gas turbine is connected to the 132kV Powerlink electrical network and the steam turbine output is connected to the Ergon 66kV network.

Siemens combined gas turbine (CGT) power plants are power generation systems that use a combination of gas and steam turbines to efficiently convert natural gas into electricity. In 2005 a redevelopment increased the capacity of the power station to 242MW.
