About the project

Over 80 hectares, the Collinsville Solar Farm 180,000 solar panels generate enough power to run up to 15,000 homes.

Since it began operations in 2018, Collinsville’s sustainable energy output is estimated to offset 90,000 tonnes of carbon dioxide emissions (Co2) every year.

RAC has been present in Collinsville since the acquisition of the Collinsville Coal Power Station in 2011.

The 42.5MW Solar Farm began operating in 2018, following the end-of-life decommissioning of Coal Power Station in 2013.

Stanwell Asset Maintenance Company (SAMCo), provide operations and maintenance (O&M) services for the Collinsville Solar Farm.
