Our portfolio consists of 1.6GW capacity of renewable energy assets and gas-fired power stations, which provide stability to the renewable energy market. A further 1.8GW of new proposed projects is under development.
RAC has invested more than $1b into Australian greenfield renewable projects. This includes the successful delivery of nearly 600MW of new wind and solar projects since 2017, such as the 227MW Collector Wind Farm which opened in June 2021.
RAC is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the RATCH Group, which is listed on the Thailand Stock Exchange. The RATCH Group owns power generation assets in Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia and Laos, with further capacity under construction or in development throughout South-East Asia.
Our projects become part of the local community for 30 years or more. This brings a responsibility to the communities that host our assets that we take extremely seriously.
At every stage of a project’s life cycle we will create opportunities for local people to get in touch with us, to ask questions and give us their opinions.
Owning some of Australia’s oldest and newest renewable energy infrastructure, allows RAC some unique insights into how community concerns, priorities and challenges mature and evolve over the life of an asset.
Such insights provide invaluable feedback into how we develop, design and build our next generation of electricity infrastructure – focused on working with, supporting and benefiting the regions in which we work; so, communities can confidently join us on the journey as we support Australia’s transition to renewable energy.
