Giving back to our communities

We have invested more than $1.5million in the communities where we operate. Since RATCH-Australia was created we have been very generous with local sponsorships. However, since the Mount Emerald Wind Farm Community Fund was launched in 2019 and then the Collector Wind Farm Community Enhancement Program in 2021 we have seen a significant increase in the amount of money that we invest in our local communities.

Last year alone we have given away almost half a million dollars in community grants. The grants can be for many different community groups such as aged care facilities, youth camps, sporting groups, men’s sheds and much more.

In Mount Emerald, we have paid for new fridges for clubs, repainted tennis clubs, bought defibrillators for the CWA and refurbished men’s sheds. In Collector, we are having a really big impact as there are just a few community organisations, so we have already paid for solar and wheelchair access for the community hall, new fencing, shade and lights for the oval, programs at the local school and servicing the community bus plus much more.
