The Yandin Wind Farm Community Fund was started during construction of the Wind Farm in 2019 and is committed to fund at least $51,000 (linked to the CPI index) each year for local community initiatives, to make a positive difference within the Shire of Dandaragan over the next two decades.
Kairi State School was among the first recipients in 2019 to receive funding for their Sustainable Garden project and equipment. The garden is still growing strongly today.
