The funding has helped youth groups, women’s associations, and many sports and recreation clubs.\n\nIn the latest round of funding 13 groups have been successful:\n\n*   Atherton Cricket Association Inc.\n*   Atherton Tablelands Hockey Association\n*   Better Together Community Support Inc.\n*   Dimbulah Swimming Club Inc.\n*   Tablelands Bushwalking Club Inc.\n*   Tinaroo Sailing Club Inc.\n*   Lions Club of Malanda Inc\n*   Malanda Community Kindergarten\n*   Mareeba Friends of the Hospital Foundation (FNQHF)\n*   Mareeba Tennis Club\n*   Mareeba Motor Cycle Club Inc.\n*   Rotary FNQ Field Days\n*   Walkamin Country Music Club Inc.\n\nProjects or groups located within a 50km radius of the Mount Emerald Wind Farm or within a 40km radius of the Windy Hill Wind Farm are eligible to apply for a grant from the fund.
