The Collector Community Trust Advisory Committee met on 21 March 2024 to determine successful applicants for round one of 2024 grants program.
The Collector Uniting Church received funding to assist with electrical rewiring and fencing to enable it to safely continue its important role in supporting community social outreach, art exhibitions and local events, and contributing to preservation of heritage and the social well-being. The Memorial Community Hall also received funding to complete its bathroom fit-out with mirrors and install veranda shutters to protect the building from wind and sun.
This fund was developed following the recommendation from the Collector Community Consultative Committee for local management of the community funds generated by the project. All non profit organisations operating within 10km radius of Collector Wind Farm are eligible to apply for funding.
